About jOAI 
    jOAI is a Java web application that implements the Open Archives Initiative
    Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH).
 
    The jOAI software was developed by Digital Learning Sciences (DLS) at the
    University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR)
    to support the Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE)
    and has been maintained as an open source project used by a number of organizations.
    Support has been provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF) as part of the
    DLESE Program and other grants.
 
jOAI uses the Apache Lucene search API
    and the Apache Struts Web application framework,
    as well as other open source software. See a partial listing of
        licenses.
    This product includes software developed by the Apache Software Foundation
    (http://www.apache.org/).
