Zusammenfassung
Over the past decade, Mali has experienced both rising insecurity and significant climate change, leading to growing attention to the ways climate and conflict interact. However, in the absence of clear data and analysis, many discussions on this topic happen without evidence, creating the risk of instrumentalising discourse and continuing the current focus on militarisation. Guided by the Weathering Risk methodology and analytical framework, 2 this paper contributes to filling this gap, presenting qualitative and quantitative data analysis of climate security risks in the country
